Every button in the POS now has an Alt shortcut. Hold Alt to see the letters painted on the buttons, and press Alt+? for the list that belongs to the screen you are on. This guide has every shortcut from the keyboard work of 4 to 10 August 2026.

POS का हरेक बटनमा अब Alt सर्टकट छ। Alt थिचिराख्नुहोस्, बटनहरूमा अक्षर देखिन्छ। Alt+? थिच्नुभयो भने तपाईं भएकै स्क्रिनको सूची खुल्छ। यो गाइडमा २०२६ अगस्ट ४ देखि १० सम्मको किबोर्ड कामका सबै सर्टकट छन्।

Learn these six. They mean the same thing everywhere in the POS.

`Alt`	Hold it. Every button on screen shows its letter.	थिचिराख्नुहोस्। पर्दाका हरेक बटनमा आफ्नो अक्षर देखिन्छ।
`Alt`+`?`	Open the shortcut list for the screen you are on.	तपाईं भएकै स्क्रिनको सर्टकट सूची खोल्छ।
`Alt`+`Enter`	Do the main action: Pay, Validate, Refund, New order, Confirm.	मुख्य काम गर्छ: Pay, Validate, Refund, New order, Confirm।

These are the plain keys. They need no Alt.

`Enter`	Open the row you are on, or press the button that has focus.	तपाईं भएकै पङ्क्ति खोल्छ, वा फोकस भएको बटन थिच्छ।

The chips at the top right. They answer from any screen, so a patient is always one key away.

The rows in this panel carry no letters on purpose, there are too many of them. Open it, type to filter, arrow to the one you want, Enter to run it.

The patient already selected is pinned on top and the numbers skip it.

Registration dialogदर्ता (Registration) डायलग

Alt reaches the fields too, not only the buttons. The letter puts the cursor in the field.

Alt ले बटन मात्र होइन, फिल्डमा पनि पुग्छ। अक्षरले कर्सर त्यही फिल्डमा राख्छ।

Refund screenरिफन्ड स्क्रिन

Arrows walk a list, Tab moves on to the next thing. From the bill you picked, Tab goes straight to its lines.

एरोले सूचीभित्र हिँड्छ, Tab ले अर्को भागमा लैजान्छ। छानिएको बिलबाट Tab सिधै त्यसका लाइनमा जान्छ।

While a popup is open it owns the keyboard. The screen behind it does not answer, so a letter can never do two things at once.

पपअप खुलेको बेला किबोर्ड त्यसैको हुन्छ। पछाडिको स्क्रिनले जवाफ दिँदैन, त्यसैले एउटै अक्षरले दुई काम गर्दैन।

`Alt`+`Enter`	Confirm. This works even in a popup nobody gave a letter to.	पुष्टि गर्छ। अक्षर नराखिएको पपअपमा पनि चल्छ।
`Alt`+`X`	Cancel.	रद्द गर्छ।
`Enter`	Confirm the popup on top.	माथिको पपअप पुष्टि गर्छ।
`Esc`	Cancel, and it works from inside a field too.	रद्द गर्छ, फिल्डभित्रबाट पनि चल्छ।
`Tab`	Stays inside the popup. Focus starts on the first control and returns to the button that opened it.	पपअपभित्रै रहन्छ। फोकस पहिलो कन्ट्रोलमा सुरु हुन्छ र खोल्ने बटनमै फर्कन्छ।

Worth knowingजान्नै पर्ने कुरा

Hold Alt across screens and the letters follow you. Alt+P opens the patient screen with Alt still down, and that screen's letters are already showing.
Alt थिचिराख्दा अक्षरहरू तपाईंसँगै जान्छन्। Alt थिचिराखेरै Alt+P गर्दा बिरामी स्क्रिन खुल्छ र त्यहीँका अक्षर पहिल्यै देखिन्छन्।
Alt shortcuts work while the cursor is in a search box. Alt+1 is not a character anyone means to type.
कर्सर सर्च बक्समा हुँदा पनि Alt सर्टकट चल्छ। Alt+1 कसैले टाइप गर्न खोजेको अक्षर होइन।
Nothing fires while the POS is busy. If a lookup is running, the keys wait instead of stacking up three dialogs.
POS व्यस्त हुँदा केही चल्दैन। खोजी चलिरहेको बेला किहरू पर्खन्छन्, तीन वटा डायलग थुप्रिँदैनन्।
Enter alone never pays a bill any more. A barcode scanner's trailing Enter used to validate a half-built bill, so Alt+Enter is now the only key that proceeds.
अब एक्लै Enter ले बिल भुक्तानी गर्दैन। ब्यारकोड स्क्यानरको पछिल्लो Enter ले अधुरो बिल भ्यालिडेट गर्थ्यो, त्यसैले अब Alt+Enter मात्र अगाडि बढाउने कि हो।
A letter means one thing everywhere. X is only ever cancel, R is refund, Q is quotations, E is check cover, P is the patient.
एउटा अक्षरको अर्थ जहाँ पनि उही हुन्छ। X सधैँ रद्द, R रिफन्ड, Q कोटेसन, E कभर जाँच, P बिरामी।
Forgot one? Alt+? reads the letters off the screen itself, so the list is never out of date.
